Environmental Commitment

We share our landscape with over 1,500 species of flora and fauna in the surrounding nature reserve. For 13 years, we have supported the conservation, preservation, and restoration of the natural environment around our resort through practical, measurable changes in how we operate.

We prioritise recycled or recyclable goods where possible, work with local suppliers, and continue to reduce our chemical footprint across design, management, and operations. We record and monitor energy use monthly, improve efficiency through better practices, and select energy-efficient equipment and appliances.

Water use and wastewater are carefully managed, supported by water-saving devices and regulators, and we continue using water treatment equipment that allows water reuse. Guests are also offered the option to reuse towels and bed linen during their stay.

To reduce waste, we monitor output monthly, follow our Zero Waste Management approach through the “Triple R” (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), and repurpose food and organic waste for farming where possible. We operate a drinking water treatment system and provide water in glass bottles in guest rooms.

Biodiversity conservation is supported through awareness for colleagues and guests, planting more native species, working with local authorities to protect wildlife, and following our F&B “No-No List” to ensure we do not provide any food or products from endangered species.
