InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Honoured with Multiple Accolades at the 2019 World Travel Awards

The InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort was honoured with multiple accolades at the World Travel Awards, once again being recognised as:

  • Vietnam’s Leading Luxury Resort
  • Asia’s Leading Green Resort
  • Asia’s Leading Luxury Hotel Villa for the Bai Bac Bay Villa
  • Asia’s Leading Luxury Resort
  • Asia’s Leading Luxury Wedding Resort

The resort also received a new award for the year:

  • Asia’s Leading Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant for La Maison 1888

The 26th annual World Travel Awards is a prestigious event in the travel and tourism industry. Votes are decided by the public and travel professionals worldwide, reaffirming winners’ commitment to excellence.

“These awards are a spectacular testament to the vision of our owners, as well as the dedication of our team in delivering true hospitality every day,” said Mr. Seif Hamdy, General Manager, who attended the glittering Asia and Oceania Gala Ceremony on 12 October in Phu Quoc. “We are thrilled to have been recognised as the best in Asia, a stellar achievement in a region that is home to some of the finest properties in the world.”

Mr. Hamdy continued, “We are especially proud to be named Asia’s Leading Green Resort for the second consecutive time; we continue to commit wholeheartedly to championing sustainable practices and wildlife conservation.”

At InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, guests are welcomed into a haven of beautiful tranquillity upon arrival, complemented by the warmth of refined service.
