This year, as InterContinental Hotels & Resorts toasts its diamond anniversary, it invites guests to celebrate the joy of travel and rediscover InterContinental hotels and resorts around the world. From now until April 2022, guests can enjoy an exciting line up of limited-time offers ranging from sparkling anniversary cocktails to exhilarating in-stay encounters.

At InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort, our 39-hectare paradise nestled on the spectacular natural preserve of Vietnam’s Son Tra Peninsula, these highly exclusive experiences include the chance to meet two of the world’s most inspirational figures in their fields: maverick architect and designer Bill Bensley and French culinary icon Pierre Gagnaire.

The Diamond Stay is more than just a room package at one of Asia’s most acclaimed resorts; it is an ultra-luxurious, three-day adventure. Available for a minimum of four people staying for two nights in the spectacular two-bedroom Sun Peninsula Residence Villa, this VIP package exudes high-style and sophistication. Within their breath-taking 800-square metre residence, guests will be able to unwind in the spacious living room, dining area and kitchen, plunge into a choice of two infinity pools, soak up the sun on a sweeping sea-facing terrace, or take a leisure stroll down to a private bay for a dip in the sea. Every element will be effortlessly facilitated by a personal Villa Host.

On the first day of this celebratory stay, guests will create memorable moments in the spectacular surroundings of their villa, exploring Monkey Bay or relaxing at the pristine private beach. Then, as the sun sets over the lush, jungle-clad hills, residents will savour a personally-prepared beach barbecue, complete with signature “InterContinental75” cocktails and, of course, champagne.

Having enjoyed a sublime night’s sleep and a leisurely breakfast, a private tour of the newly-opened Bensley Outsider Gallery will allow visitors to discover original artworks by Bill Bensley, the visionary architect, artist and interior designer, with US$500 credit to spend at the Gallery. This is followed by a video “coffee date” with Mr. Bensley himself, providing a unique opportunity to learn all about this inimitable, inspiring figure who has helped to conceive some the world’s most extraordinary hotels and resorts.

That evening, the talented culinary team at La Maison 1888, the hotel’s multi-award-winning restaurant, overseen by Michelin-starred Pierre Gagnaire, will prepare a memorable meal that fuses fine French flavours with an unmistakeable Vietnamese influence, complemented by rare vintages from the “Cellar Treasures” collection – a selection of some of the world’s finest wines, many of which cannot be found anywhere else in Vietnam. To elevate the evening even higher, a live video chat with Mr. Gagnaire at the Buffalo Bar will allow food-lovers to learn all about the life and career of this brilliant three Michelin-starred chef.
