Learn how daily life in rural Vietnam is deeply intertwined with the natural environment with this fun and illuminating experience. Depart our resort in the morning for a day of varied eco-adventures in and around Hoi An. You’ll start at Tra Que village, a gorgeous riverside agricultural area, to learn how fishermen manage their shrimp and fish ponds. You’ll also meet local farmers to glean the secrets of organic tropical farming and gardening. After a foot massage, you’ll learn how to make rice paper, and then some cooking! You’ll learn two local specialties with ingredients you’ve harvested along the way.

After the lunch that you have prepared yourself, you will embark on scenic exploration on Hoi An’s Thu Bon river, a peaceful journey through lush tropical landscapes, verdant rice fields and serene waterways. Then we’ll ramp up the excitement with a ride in a “basket boat”, a traditional means of transport. You’ll even get to try your hand at navigating one of these these unique vessels.
