The only restaurant in Vietnam to win 4 consecutive years

La Maison 1888, the celebrated French restaurant at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort which is overseen by culinary icon Pierre Gagnaire, has been honoured for its outstanding wine program in Wine Spectator’s 2021 Restaurant Awards. The annual program recognises restaurants around the world as a top destination for wine lovers.

Wine Spectator began its program to recognize the world’s best wine lists in 1981.

La Maison 1888 has won the Best of Award of Excellence in the 2021 Restaurant Awards.

With the largest restaurant wine cellar in Vietnam, La Maison 1888 features the finest wines the country has to offer. Head sommelier Jimmy Yao-Chia Chang has personally curated a collection of exceptional labels, many of which can only be found at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort.

For example, La Maison 1888 holds Vietnam’s only bottles of Henri Jayer Cros Parantoux Burgundy and Château-Grillet, which comes from the Rhône region of France. Other rare treasures can be discovered in the prestigious “Grandeur Collection”, including Château Lafite Rothschild 1er Grand Cru Classé, Petrus Grand Vin, Château Latour 1er Grand Cru Classé, and Château Haut Brion 1er Grand Cru Classé, alongside a wide variety of more affordable vintages, all of which can be paired perfectly with the restaurant’s exquisite cuisine.
