La Maison 1888 has the distinction of being the first restaurant in Vietnam to feature a world-renowned Michelin-starred chef, and has been recognised by CNN in the Top 10 of the World's Best Restaurants in 2016; the World's Leading Fine Dining Hotel Restaurant in 2017 by the World Travel Awards; and given the Best of Award of Excellence by Wine Spectator in 2018 and 2019.

The superb cuisine is French in soul and flavour, tinged by an unmistakeable Vietnamese influence. Chef Pierre Gagnaire's vision and philosophy are beautifully expressed in the distinguished menu and executed to perfection by Chef de cuisine Alexandre Colonna and his team.

The setting is as remarkable as the gastronomy. Star architect Bill Bensley imagined La Maison 1888 as an antique French mansion, the residence of a fictional French-Eurasian family whose vividly portrayed characters inspired the period furnishings of each private dining niche: from the sensible Accountant's Room, to the thrill-seeking Traveler's Room and the risqué Le Boudoir de Madame.

Signature cocktails can be savoured in the elegant Buffalo Bar or on the magnificent terrace with commanding views over the resort and the sea beyond.
